To be part of the green dining district, restaurants must agree to have a waste audit and consider ways to reduce food waste.

Dolly Kaur came to this community to make a difference with her restaurant. Flavors of India is working to minimize the usage of plastic by replacing plastic cups with clay cups that are earth friendly and created by local potters.

Kimberly Landry, owner of Scoups Ice Cream & Soup Bar joined the Green Dining District to help remedy the tremendous amounts of waste that restaurants produce.

Every week, Waste Management picks up 6 yards of waste at LA Bakery and 20% of that is food waste that goes into the landfill. Ali Arbabha joined the Green Dining District to find a better solution for waste and to help the planet.
